The Restaurant

The dining options at Rae's Fish Cafe are unlimited, whether it be dining in the restaurant overlooking the ocean, a private room service dinner or a casual pool side snack, - the choice is yours!

Our 60 seat al fresco dining room overlooking the ocean has a reputation as the best dining in the region. We use the freshest local produce combined for casual seafood based menu.

Beautifully cooked, stylishly presented we spare no expense in sourcing quality produce.

We are happy to discuss your culinary desires in advance of your visit. Our dining facilities are also available for Events http://www.raes.com.au/raes/Events.html, weddings http://www.raes.com.au/raes/Events.html  and cocktail parties and any other forms of impromptu entertainment.

The dining room is open for lunch and dinner during the summer months seven days a week.

Should you wish to not leave the comfort of your room, a full room service menu is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as an all day dining menu.

Picnics and BBQ's

We love to encourage our guests to indulge in taking a picnic to the hinterland, lighthouse or the beach for the day. Or why not have our chefs cook you a gourmet seafood BBQ for you on our BBQ by the pool and garden area.

Standard Function Hours
The restaurant is available for functions from the following times:
Lunch - 12.00 - 5.00 pm
Dinner - 6.00pm - strictly 11.30pm due to residential noise restrictions
Kitchen closes at 10.00 pm please
Please note no alcoholic beverages can be served past midnight.

A set menu is required for all functions greater than 20 guests. Functions of 20 - 29 guests make their selection 72 hrs prior to function of 3 meals per course or banquet style. Functions greater than 30 guests also have a selection of three meals per course, meals are served alternately.

All catering prices quoted are inclusive of 10% Goods & Services Tax.

Maximum Seating Capacity
A maximum of 60 can be catered for within the confines of our restaurant for a formalised sit down meal. A maximum of 80 pax can be catered for cocktail or standing functions. For larger events a 100 person sit down marque is available.

Accommodation Requirements
For wedding functions the entire accommodation (7 rooms) is required to be reserved in conjunction with the reception. A minimum two nights stay is required over a weekend period. For dinner functions between 20 to 30 guests and lunch functions greater than 30 guests you are required to take two specified suites (Penthouse 2 and Penthouse 7) due to their close proximity to the dining area. For dinner functions greater than 30 guests the entire accommodation (7 rooms)is required to be reserved exclusively.
