1. Background
(a) These Dining Room & Cellar Bar Terms and Conditions (Terms) form a legal agreement between Raes on Wategos Pty Ltd (ACN 164 962 494) (Raes, we or us) and you
(b) These terms are to be read in conjunction with the Booking Terms and Conditions and House Policy.
2. Raes Dining Room
2.1 Menu and Pricing
(a) Raes Dining Room offers a seasonal 3-course à la carte menu priced at $125 per guest
(b) Our 8-course Signature Tasting Menu is priced at $195 per guest, with optional wine pairings available for $135 per guest.
2.2 Dietary Requirements
We are pleased to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies where possible. Notice must be given at the time of booking.
2.3 Dining Duration
Dining times are allocated as follows:
(a) 1-5 guests: 2 hours
(b) 6 or more guests: 5 hours
2.4 Service Charge
A discretionary 10% service charge applies to tables of 6 or more guests.
2.5 Reservation Confirmation
Reservations will be confirmed via SMS three days prior to your booking. If unconfirmed, we will follow up by call or email. If we do not receive confirmation, your reservation will be released at 12:00pm on the day of your booking without further notice.
3. Raes Cellar Bar
3.1 General Service
Raes The Cellar Bar offers a walk-in-only service for individual guests, showcasing a refined selection of bar snacks and beverages served on the terrace.
3.2 Group Booking
(a) Group bookings at the Cellar Bar are available at either 12:30pm or 3:30pm.
(b) Group bookings must dine on the seasonal Cellar Bar set menu, priced at $85 per guest.
(c) Beverages are charged on consumption.
(d) A minimum spend applies across food and beverage.
(e) A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. This will be applied to your final bill.
(f) A 10% service charge applies to groups of 6 or more guests.
3.3 Dietary Requirements
We are pleased to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies where possible. Notice must be given at the time of booking.
3.4 Weather Conditions
(a) The Cellar Bar is an outdoor space with limited weather coverage. In the event of inclement weather, Raes may cancel the reservation for safety reasons.
(b) If your booking is cancelled due to weather, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund of your deposit.
(c) A wet-weather alternative in Raes Dining Room cannot be guaranteed.
4. Parking and Transport
(a) Parking is extremely limited in the Wategos area. There is no on-site parking available.
(b) Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before their booking or to use alternative transport such as taxi or Uber.
5. Cancellation Policy
(a) A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for any booking cancellation or amendment.
(b) Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of the booking time may incur a cancellation fee of $125 per guest
